What We Mean by Personal Information
“Personal Information” means any information from or about a person that either identifies that person directly or makes that person identifiable when combined with other information.
Information We Collect
- Account Information: email address, name, and profile photo when you sign in with Google. We also create a Firebase user ID (UID).
- Content You Upload: files you choose to store/sync (e.g., images, videos, PDFs, HTML). We process and store this content on your behalf to provide the Services; we do not collect it for our own independent purposes.
- App Activity: anonymous analytics events (screen views, feature usage).
- App Info & Performance: crash logs and diagnostics.
- Device/Other IDs: advertising ID (for ads) and app instance IDs (for analytics).
- Approximate Location: may be inferred by our ads provider from your IP for ad delivery and measurement.
We act as a service provider/processor for your uploaded content. Your files are stored and synced so that you can access them across devices. We do not sell your files, and we do not use their contents for advertising, model training, or unrelated analytics. Access to file contents is limited to automated processing needed to provide the Services (e.g., thumbnails, compression) and may occur for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting at your request, or where required by law.
Role under privacy laws. For account and operational data, ColossalDevs is the data controller (EEA/UK) or business (California). For the contents you upload, ColossalDevs generally acts as a data processor/service provider on your behalf.
Information you provide to us directly. Examples include when you create an account, contact support, subscribe to updates, or otherwise communicate with us.
Automatically collected information. We collect technical data via SDKs/APIs, including device and app identifiers, OS and model, IP address, language/region, usage data (screens viewed, taps), and network information (URLs, ports, Wi‑Fi access points) to secure, maintain, and improve the Services.
Information you share on other sites. Links in the app or web views may open third‑party sites or social services where their own policies apply. Content you post there may be collected by those third parties.
How We Handle Your Uploaded Content
- Stored with our cloud processors (e.g., Firebase) solely to provide syncing, thumbnails, and retrieval across your devices.
- Processed automatically for features you enable (e.g., compression, previews). We do not read or review content except as necessary for security, legal compliance, or to resolve a support request you initiate.
- Not sold or shared for cross‑context behavioral advertising. Not used for unrelated analytics.
- Retention controlled by you. Delete items in‑app to remove them from active storage; residual copies may persist briefly in backups per provider policies before being purged.
How We Use Information
- Provide and operate the app (account login, storing/syncing your files).
- Improve performance and reliability (analytics, Crashlytics).
- Personalize and measure ads where applicable (Google Mobile Ads).
- Security and fraud prevention (App Check/Play Integrity).
Legal Bases (EEA/UK users)
- Performance of a contract (provide the service you request).
- Legitimate interests (app analytics/performance and security).
- Consent (personalized ads where required by law; managed via Google’s User Messaging Platform).
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf, or where required by law:
- Service providers: hosting and data storage, authentication, databases, file storage, analytics, crash reporting, communications, and customer support.
- Advertising and consent partners: Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent where applicable.
- Compliance and safety: public authorities or law enforcement when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Corporate transactions: our affiliates and professional advisors, or a successor entity, in connection with mergers, acquisitions, or reorganization.
- Google Firebase: Auth, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check.
Links to Other Websites and Social Services
The Services may link to third‑party websites or social platforms. Their collection and use of your information are governed by their own policies. Please review those policies before interacting with those services.
Data Retention
- Account and uploaded content: Retained until you delete them or request deletion.
- Analytics and crash data: Retained per Google’s standard retention windows.
- We may retain minimal logs for security, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
Your Choices & Rights
- Access, correct, or delete content you uploaded.

- Opt‑out of personalized ads via device settings and UMP consent prompts (where shown).
- EEA/UK: Rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability.

Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We use Firebase security rules and platform safeguards and train personnel on privacy and security. However, no method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Do Not Track Signals
We do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Some third‑party sites may track your browsing activities; their practices are governed by their own policies.
Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the age defined by your jurisdiction). Do not use the app if you are under the applicable age.
International Transfers
Services may be provided from outside your country by our processors (e.g., Google). We rely on appropriate safeguards as applicable.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell or share Personal Information for cross‑context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this policy.
Your rights (subject to exemptions):
- Right to Know/Access: The categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we collected; sources; purposes; categories of recipients.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of Personal Information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate Personal Information.
- Right to Non‑Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
How to Submit Requests: Email javier@colossaldevs.com. We will acknowledge within 15 days and respond within 45 days (or notify you if an extension up to 90 days is needed). To protect your privacy, we may request additional information to verify your identity or your authorized agent’s authority.
Third‑Party Services
Google Firebase and Google Mobile Ads operate under their own terms and policies. Web content opened via webview may set cookies per the site’s policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted in‑app or on our site with an updated “Last updated” date.
