Data Removal

Effective date: August 20, 2025

What You Can Remove

  • Files you uploaded (images, videos, PDFs, HTML and other documents).
  • Bookmarks and links you saved.
  • Tags, folders, and organizational labels you created.
  • Generated previews (thumbnails) and cached data associated with your items.

How to Delete Items Yourself

Delete items directly in the app by removing the file, bookmark, tag, or folder. Deletions propagate to your synced devices. If you need assistance removing a large volume of content, contact us and we can help.

Delete Your Account

  • In‑app (if available): Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and follow the prompts.
  • Or email us: Send a request to javier@colossaldevs.com with the subject “Account Deletion” from the same email you used to sign in to Stacklink.

We will remove your Stacklink account, your Firebase user record (UID), and associated Stacklink content stored on our processors (e.g., Firebase). This will not delete your Google account or other third‑party accounts you used for sign‑in.

Request Data Deletion (We Help)

Email javier@colossaldevs.com to request deletion of:

  • Account data (email, Firebase UID, profile fields).
  • Uploaded content stored with our processors (files, previews, metadata).
  • Analytics and crash data where identifiable, per provider retention windows.

We will acknowledge within 15 days and respond within 45 days (or notify you if more time is needed). We may ask for additional verification to protect your account.

Backups & Retention

Deleted items are removed from active storage. Limited backup copies may persist for a short period per provider policies and will be purged automatically. We may retain minimal logs where required for security, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Status & Confirmation

Upon completion, we’ll confirm that your account and requested data have been removed from active systems, and outline any remaining backup retention windows where applicable.
